Auditor-General will also be briefing PAC on his findings on February 24 and 25.
ROMPIN: Two more individuals will come forward next week to give statements to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) regarding 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) before PAC closes its hearing on the matter, said its chairman Hasan Arifin.
He said they were the former president and chief executive officer of 1MDB, Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi, and former 1MDB chairman Mohd Bakke Salleh.
“These two persons will be called on February 11 and 12,” he told reporters after handing over a multi-purpose van, donated by Bank Rakyat, to Masjid Al-Iman Kampung Leban Chondong here today.
Hasan also said the Auditor-General would be briefing the PAC on his findings on the 1MDB issue on February 24 and 25.
Meanwhile, Hasan, who is also Rompin MP, said the constituency would be developed in stages as an international eco-tourism destination in the near future.
He added that a special meeting would be held with the authorities to discuss the planning for this development on February 18.
